Random 3D printing chatter

Just ordered an A1 mini for the kiddo (and maybe me....) for Crimbo.

I also opted for an AMS 2 Pro, which kinda feels silly as more expensive than the printer... But justifying it in that it's only £70 more than the AMS lite with the Black Friday prices, and handles drying etc too. Plus I am fully expecting the A1 mini to be a gateway, so will likely get an XY at some point that the AMS can just move to.......

Got 4 reels of PLA in different colours, and a reel of PETG if I want to try something more hardwearing...

Any other accessory / consumable recommendations for stress free Xmas day night / boxing day printing? :D

As boring as it sounds, id get a hardened steel nozzle or 2 spare.

.2 and .4 sizes incase you want to print any abrasive filaments or anything more "detailed"

Seems like X2D combo is on offer as well!
Yep - had to talk myself out of that for work, as don't think it offers enough over our existing P2S.
Also considered a H2S, but again outside of a few niche use cases, I don't think there's enough big stuff we would print (not helped by there not being a H2S bed size filter on Makerworld).

Going to wait and likely get the P3C, as that will be a decent upgrade in terms of speed/filament saving for some of the multi colour printing we do.

H3C teasers Keep on coming. Different nozzles and filaments seemingly in the same print
