The word "testis" comes from the Latin meaning to bear witness. In ancient Rome, only men could bear witness or testify in a public forum. In order to show importance to their testimony, they would hold their testicles as they spoke, and an oath was declared while holding another's testicles.

Trust the Romans to do something like that. It's hilarious how unacceptable that would be in todays society!

Palistine-as the PLO, Palistine Liberation Organisation- also has a seat (but no terretory as such)

Switzerland only became a full member in 2002
