Random people let their toddler walk around my drive

Yesterday in the evening, my smart doorbell detected motion, I watched the clip and saw a small child being picked up by his parents, I just assumed he had wandered onto my drive and they were retrieving him. But when I watched back the footage from my cameras, they seemed to purposely cross the road and place him on my drive.

Were they scoping out my house? I wasn't home at the time and they were gone by time I got the notification.

They were speaking a foreign language, maybe Polish. I can post the video too.

I don't know these people and I've lived here for 2.5 years. Should I be concerned?

Do you have a letterbox fitted at the bottom of your door. They can be quite difficult to poo through for an adult.

Seriously though he looks like hes interested in your ornamental manhole cover and his parents are letting him have an explore rather than pulling him away which would cause a tantrum.

I don't see what the car has to do with it, it's a company car, no way I could affiord to buy one myself.

At face value looks fairly innocent to me, looks like they thought he'd play on your gravel then ran in pretty quick to grab him when he started playing with the door.

I wouldn't let my child do that, but I honestly think they were just letting him walk on the stones.

There’s summat at your front door or visible inside that caught kids attention I reckon, which is why they’ve wandered over.

But, as seems to be typical of todays younger parents, they’ve just allowed it free rein to wander round your garden. Doubt it’s anything more sinister than lack of respect.

It's the thing with having these cameras everywhere, obviously there are pros for having them, but one of the cons is if you didn't, this would have happened and you would never have known and therefore never have the concern you do now.
