Random shut downs.

Reliability History is just showing the two unexpected shut downs but they was a number of updates that happened yesterday according to that.

The PSU is a

That's a quality PSU.

Have you had any other problems since that initial shutdown?

And have you been using it as normal if you haven't?

No not had any problems since then but to be fair I have not had chance to play any games since then either. I will see how I get on when I get back on Monday.

Well your temps seem fine, memtest came back clear but as mentioned i prefer much longer memtest86 runs, something to consider if you get more problems.

For now:

I would root around your internals when you get home - check ALL your connections, perhaps reseat them. I would even reseat memory and the gfx card - or at least check they're firmly in place. I would reset the CMOS too - save a profile first if you're unsure of your BIOS settings.

Update your main drivers - GPU, chipset - and if you don't experience any problems after that chalk it up to anomaly that you fixed with one of the above.

Think I figured out my problem. Last night I could not even turn the pc on, when I went to look at the back I could hear the electric buzzing so I turned all the power off and it turned out the power cord was not fully. Well I hope that was it. I did 5 games straight this morning on Fifa with no problems.

I'm sure you have too.

When i suggested check all connections i should have clarified the kettle lead too - it's often overlooked as it hides in plain site.

Thanks for updating the thread - hopefully stability will become the norm.
