Random thread closures in N&IC ?

I'm noticing random thread closures with no explanation as to why they've been locked?

Read the sticky and provide some more info before the thread gets locked.

Because you're asking for recommendations without providing any info on what services you have available. Under tolien's iron rule that's grounds for a lock

I'm not trying to be some kind of Nazi here, but the number of virtually identical "i'd lik a noo ISP kthx lol ftw bbq" were getting stupid. I shouldn't have had to post a sticky and lock threads for what should be some basic common sense.

It's not just "info on what services you have available", things like a budget and your typical usage are pretty significant factors in what ISPs make decent choices.
