There is no 2 litre diesel, its the 2.2 (DW12c)

The problem with the inline 6 is that it wasn;t used for long enough by the other OEM's so this now would be its sole use and the decision was made when oil was well above $100 a barrel - since then they changed it from LR to RR yet the engines haven't kept up with the change.
I'm sure it'll be a great success with the usual owner demographic of drug dealers and perma-tanned wives on the school run.
This car is a bit like the Freelander. It will be bought by people that couldn't afford to buy a Disco or Rangie.

That's not the market though. Those people will just go for a full fat Range Rover.

. Or it could become the Boxster of the RR line like you say...(only not as good in it's own right as the Porsche, perhaps)Baby Rolls Royce anyone?get used to it
Once the EU starts fining them per car sold per gram of Co2 that the average of their range is above the limit, they will all be doing it.

Looks great to my eyes, aggressive in a i'm not absolutely massive fashion that you seem to get from every manufacturer these days.
Finally a Range Rover that the soccer mums can actually drive and park.
It's not easy to park, the rear view is limited and it's really hard to get use to the size of it when driving. Still a nice place to be inside... and a bit different!

that looks bloody awful.
you absolutely know youll see millions on the road as these mums will want to drive about feeling like mini celebrities
