Is it just me who has trouble reading the code ?

It used to be dead easy but now it's that ridiculous "Only enter letters with a cat wrapped round it". I get it wrong all the time. It drives me insane.

Its really not.

I use it once or twice a month, tops. Going through this stupid system is silly, and is no way to make me part with my money.

Because If I fail, I give up and go somewhere else to get it.

It's actually £5.55 if you buy a month account, or £3.55/month if you buy a year account.

They have added it as people where using OCR software to circumvent the verification and have things download automatically as if they had a premium account.

Next they will change as people have OCR (Optical Cat Recognition) software

It is really annoying, and I only download from RS perhaps once every 3 months. Barely at all, luckily the last few times recently I have downloaded in happy hour .

The number of letters with cats/dogs in them increase with the "peak usage time".

Not so much to do with defeating OCR bots, but rather to frustrate users into paying up. Else there wont be a reason to have varying number of letters to look at.
