rapist threatens rape

Man i am sorry to hear this,

I bet it's making your life hell? Problem you have is that if you do retaliate then you could pretty much guarantee some comeback, at the moment its only threats, i have found that people who give threats rarely actually have the cahooners to take it to action, If the guy was really that agreeved with you then he would have got out of his Car and confronted you, He was obviously aware he was in a car (which i bet the doors were locked on) and could get away if anything kicks off.

Remember its only words, obviously just letting the police know is good because as soon as anything happens to you or your wife they will know who to go to, Unfortunately they cannot do anything until something is proven, Next time you see him try to record him via your mobile phone.

I would rather rot in a sell than have some one I loved constantly worrying for years to come, if not the rest of her life in case this monster would pop up at some point. Constantly having to watch her own back and live in fear, is not a way to live your life and not a way of life I would choose for her if I had another option...

Yeah because once your banged up for 20 years all the worry for your wife will simply vanish  she can get on with her life with out a care in the world. May as well go Big Vern on her as well and kill your whole family whilst your at it

BIG VERN

because if you kick the living daylights out of him, you wind-up inside, and your wife is left alone with a very angry man wanting revenge.

Finally somebody who speaks some sense.
If you do owt then you will be banged up & she will be alone & Rapist can do his thing.
Inform Police but don't just be casual, Tell them you would like the Community officer to pop round so that you Both can get to know him etc Then encourage regular visits/pass bys by the local Police.
Buy the Missus some JIFF Yes the little plastic Lemon juice container things. These are Completely Legal to carry & Fantastic defence weapons for women, They can deliver a good amount of Lemon juice in a second & that will **** up Any would be attacker, Straight in the face/eyes Kick to the Nutz, JD.
Obviously you need to take more precautions around the home & with the Missus. Secure the home & place Natural weapons around the house, A Hammer in Every room is Legal & so are Plenty of kitchen knives. ;)
Rather than be the attacker & get arrested in this ****** up law system be in a state of Ultimate Defence.
If somebody Breaks into your home & they will have to Break in with the new locks etc you fit & whilst you fight them off you pick up a Hammer or knives that are Naturally laying about & you just Happen to Plunge it into there chest you will Walk away from it without a charge.
Play the system for what it is, ******.

So fit window locks, door chain, extra door locks, dead locks etc
Buy a couple of Jiffs, 1 for Hand bag 1 for glove box car etc
Spread Natural Weapons around house.
Take precautions with Missus, Go Every where with her, Get her mates to double up with her & help, Tell neighbours, friends family etc

Failing all this get a virtual stranger that you have absolutely No connection to who lives in a different part of the country to come down & Kill him, Bare in mind though that you will probably have to do the same for him. :D

This thread is ridiculous.

Amnesia, if you're not going to take any of the reasonable actions suggested (restraining orders, demanding to speak to a senior officer or just making a fuss in the station until they get the top dog down to see you), don't be crying when it happens.

Alarms and guard dogs are no way of protecting your wife. Grow some ****ing balls and demand action from the police.

Or go to the papers. AT LEAST.

This tbh.... I cant help but think in a few weeks there will be a "my wife is missing/ raped/ murdered" and tbh, if all you are going to do is put a camera up so you can watch it all happen again and again then its your own fault for not going far enough to make sure that this threat was dealt with. "How far" is up for interpretation but cameras and a dog isnt going to stop a guy.

What makes people even think he will come to your home in the first place? he followed you to work so the chances are he's followed you home too - just you didnt know about it. All he has to do is follow your wife to work and wait for her to come out alone. Its as simple as that. In the mean time where are your cameras and dog then?

I feel sorry for your situation but in my eyes, when all else fails, "fire with fire" personally.

If you're getting CCTV installed make sure it will be admissable as evidence. Last thing you want is for the footage to be deemed unusable because it's recorded at a horrendous resolution that the police can't work with.

I'd go to a solicitor for a restraining order, hound the police about taking further action and if things do pick up, e.g. you see him hanging around, get your wife to stay at her mother's or a friends until further action is taken.

Personally, if someone made those comments to me I'm not sure how I'd keep my cool

Keep us updated :)

EDIT: For those recommending weapons.. I'm pretty sure you cannot knowingly bring / stash a weapon for the purpose of using it in "self defence". I'm no legal eagle, but I always thought that If you happen to find it laying around e.g. golf clubs in the car, then maybe.. but don't be suprised if he presses charges against you/your wife if you get out of the car with a weapon in hand and beat the living daylights out of him.

Is this guy a 7 foot monster or something or are you a 4 foot 6 stone guy? I dont understand why people are say go to the police or get cctv.

I am 99.9% certain that if someone said to my dad that he was going to rape my mum and come and attack him if he went to the police, he wouldnt hesitate to jump out the car and do something. No im not a keyboard warrior but raping your wife then attacking you isnt really something to write a letter to the police about!

its true my dad who looks like he wouldnt get into a fight even though hes tall and not fragile looking once attacked these three lads who were in there early twenties because they tried to abduct my older sister.

they were trying to drag her into a car and my dad ran out with a hammer.

in the heat of the moment you dont need to be a hard man your adrenalin gets pumping and you will feel like he-man and leap from behind your keyboard to defend your family.

Hi

thanks for the ongoing concern and advice.
for people asking my history with him...i have none and neither does my wife.
im sure when the police speak to him he will put his grievance forward or atleast make something up...i will post here what i get told.

as for my cameras and solicitor...my brother said he will get the cctv sorted for me.
i will get the wife to phone a solicitor to seek an injunction/restraining order against him(im not legally smart not sure if both are the same or not) .

it has not been done yet as it was only yesterday that it was suggested to me.

thanks for all the replies so far...i really appreciate this.

but tbh im not seeking violent solutions....i just want someone i can contact who can help against this sicko....like i asked earlier does anybody keep track of sex offenders ?

Any suggestions to ask the police to allow her to have pepper spray are crazy to say the least.

The cops will not give permission to allow her to carry what is a Section 5 Prohibited Weapon under the Firearms Act.

Such authority comes from the Home Secretary but it is limited to law enforcement personnel and not members of the public uneder any circumstances.

true that - was on the tube the other day and there was a group of teenagers (boys and girls) sitting on the train being leary, then 2 guys stood up and started shouting at eachother and then from the corner of my eye I seen one threw a punch and I heard a loud slap and the guy fell to the floor, not even thinking what was going on I stood up and sai "woooow what the ****".... all of a sudden the guy on the floor got up and said "only joking" we all started laughing at my expense ([excuse]I had worked a 14 hour shift and was tired[/excuse]) but at least the guy knew if it was real I would have been there.

Just a couple of days ago on tv there was a programme on people getting a ttacked and people sitting there and pretending it didnt happen. But at least I know Im not one of them :p....

slightly going off topic but yeah - adrenaline clears all doubt in your mind.

what if she carries a can of deoderant :p thats bad enough in the eyes... especially if its lynx.

wonder what is worse - deoderant to the eyes or dry anti persperant.

There is an SAS tactics pocket book available. its really good. fair enough it does show you how to kill people with a biro etc but it also shows effective self diffence and how to restrain people

There is NOTHING worse than trying to learn self defence / martial arts from a book. You'll end up with a false sense of security. If you are serious about it, learn by joining a club.

It's a shame you don't live over this way, a quick visit to your local Republican Sinn Fein rep. would have it sorted out the same day, in a "leave, don't come back or we'll shoot you" kinda fashion.

Can you not befriend some ****** or something? There's something to be said for a bunch of them turning up at his house armed with bags of wheelnuts.
