raptor test on hd tune query

done a test today and this is what came up,ive done a disk check and it found errors but fixed them,does this mean that the drive is on its way out cheers

Doesn't look too healthy mate. Have you tried doing a diskeeper pro defrag?

And also enable a chkdsk on startup.

yes m8 ive done a chkdisk and also done a defrag with O&O pro with complete access and stealth and still the same,looks like a new drive i might have to get do you think

Yeah RMA it mate. IIRC turnaround on WD drives is about two weeks max.

dont know if i can m8 as i bought it of a certain auction site and although it stil has warranty i dont know if i could do it

Just get in touch with WD mate. AFAIK as long as you give them the serial number they should be OK with it.

No need to ring them the site will issue an RMA if its less than 5 years old. Contrary to most other bits of kit, the drive itself is under warranty, doesn't matter where you got it or if you bought it new.

fornowagain i checked the warranty and it is still under warranty till 2009 so i went to fill in the rma
Please enter the reason for replacing the drive(s) (30 chars max):
so i tell them what is wrong and when i go to press the rma button it comes up

it worked using I.E m8 cheers,will send it back tomorrow,so ordered one of these to use instead
