A friend at work was talking about him, and said he couldn't think of a bad film he'd been in. I might not agree with that, because I don't tend to like British gangster films quite as much as he does, however I said I'd go watch some. I'll probably enjoy them.

He's been in so many films I can't easily tell which ones he's just a bit part in and which ones he's one of the main roles if I look at IMDB - or at least I don't know if a way to do it.

So far I've got Scum, and Sexy Beast to watch.

Can anyone suggest Ray Winstone films where he's more than just a small part, for me to watch?

Hmm, some of the films you've mentioned 4T5 I have seen, and don't remember him being significant in them.

All the same though I think I'll go through the list and see if any of the ones I've not seen seem interesting.

Love, Honour and Obey is pretty awesome, there's also a 4 part (afaik) series he was in around the same time called Births, Marriages and Deaths, that was really good from what I remember.

he also starred in a 2007 BBC dramatisation of Sweeney Todd (bizarrely enough, the 'real' Sweeney Todd as opposed to the 'Reganesque' Sweeney he is currently playing). Love, Honour & Obey is excellent, but surreal :D. Sexy Beast is also good. it's worth watching just for Ben Kingsley playing a deranged former associate of Gal's

As you can see from the list above, he's only been in 4 decent films, 2 of which he wasn't leading.
Dreadful actor.
