Fair enough about not being able to detect those who exploit the controller, I guess that the standard edition (which I think is not button mapable) would be okay. I found this statement below a good response on overclockers.net
The funny thing about the situation is that MLG is banning Razer's competitive controller, as to there rules of "Mapping Buttons"; while they are working with MadCatz to produce a MLG controller, when they have a 'rule' banning any MadCatz controllers at tournaments in place.
