It's good but is it me or does it not have the magic of the original game? Also why no 1280x1024 resolution?

You can edit the Rez to whatever you want in the OPTIONS.TXT file. Dunno why they don't list such an important rez in the game tho. Mine's running fine at 1280x1024, although my 9800pro is groaning a bit under the load!

Anyone know how to create entrance/exits for the Minature Railroad? I completed the track with the stations but I can't open the ride because it says I can't open it without entrance/exits.

runs nicely everything on full although can go a bit choppy at times

Not a problem at 1280x1024 with max everything and 4x AA. Tis a A64 3000+ with a 9800Pro and a gig of RAM though.

I'm noticing that everyone with 64 processors is running this fine and the only ones have issues with speed are those with XP's does anyone know if this is going to be processor heavy?

I downloaded it the other night.
Its OK. I prefer RCT2 though.
I really dont like the new interface, everything is too spaced out. In RCT2 everything was grouped together and easy to find.
In this demo, its a chore to find the screen that you want.

I too found it a bit cumbersome to move around and build paths. I had a tree in the way of a path and ended up having to zoom right in on the tree to delete it rather than the ride next to it.

Also the lack of tunnels seems odd...I used those quite a lot in the old RCT, overall not too sure which I prefer yet.

Never knew that. Then again, i never really messed with it that much.

Dont get me wrong, it seems like a good game to RCT n00bs, but for experianced players, RCT2 is the better choice.
Its a better 2D-3D conversion than Theme Park->Theme Park World was from what ive seen.
