Judging by the stuff this guy is saying, it could be that they can pull more performance out of the tech so the TFLOPs itself doesn't need to be as high as Nvidia.

I'm somewhat disappointed, as was the muted crowd. my 3080ti is 61 Tflops.

TFLOPS isn't a final indication of performance. The 3080 had more than the 6900XT but wasn't faster than it.

nope dp 2.1 is the new spec, nvidia failed there.
