ha, there are some wierdos in there, had one guy sitting behind me and a friend once, stunk and was mumbling to himself >.<
sadly I live too far to walk to that one now, so normally frequent the woodcutter instead

The Running Horse?

not quite, but close hehe more central to town than that

Haarts aren't great either.

any idea when the 3M eyesore building is being flattened/fixed? i'd demolish it with a hammer given the opportunity ;)

It's being demolished? I never had any internal comms when I was there about it being removed - where you hear that?

EDIT: Just realised you meant old 3M building lol

My deposit case is now in arbitration. They wanted entire deposit of £1800. They even wanted £600 for a working fridge. OcUK 'prospect victims' meet round my house. Drinks on me (from a working fridge :))

My mate lives near prospect park, congrats on the flat :)

Send me a message via trust if you fancy a victory pint :)

Hey all, so i'm looking to move again - can people give me the skinny on what issues they had with Prospect?

Sam

Hey Sam,

I had several issues with Prospect.

1) Rude and incompetent staff
2) Very late in repairing maintenance issues (took a month to fix heating)
3) When moving out they tried to take our entire deposit of £1800 over damage that was logged as already caused when we moved in. In the end after much letter writing and statements the case was pretty much thrown out by the DPS and they only got £200 from our deposits.

I know that in all likelihood no estate agent (or any business for that matter) is perfect, but I would seriously think twice before getting involved with Prospect. It caused me a lot of stress I didn't need.

Hey, Thanks for your quick reply :) I've got a meeting with them tonight about a propert I've seen that i like. I've read a lot of bad reviews regarding their organisation in general, so i'm going to ensure I have everything in writing before I sign or pay anything.

If they fail to play the game then i'll just keep looking.

One thing to clarify is that after agreeing with us they tried to then make us pay for reference and guarantor forms and checks as well as admin fees. Make sure they don't try that cheeky trick on you.

Nice one, Thanks man! I'll look out for that. If not, I'll have a look around. I'm with Haslams at the moment and i've got nothing but words for those guys - If i didnt have to find a 2-bedroom place for my brother & Me i'd stay with them where i am now :(

Anyone know of any nice property going? I quite like the Q2 stuff.
