Reading the bible

The NIV is generally considered to be the most accurate translation, but I prefer the New Living Translation which is quite easy to read.

i'm gonna wait for the prequel and sequel and get the trilogy

The Bible is a collection of 66 books, I've no idea what *ilogy that makes it...

The main differences between versions is the style of translation.

The most widely used is the NIV, so I'd probably invest in one of those. A concordance might be useful too, especially if you want to look in more detail at particular themes.

Gillycus, 25:17.

The path of the righteous forum user is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the spec me some fresh air poster and the tyranny of evil spammers. Blessed is he, who in the name of administration and modding, shepherds the weak through the valley of DOS attack, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost classic GTA threads. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my forums. And you will know my name is Gilly when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

If you've never read the Bible then its generally considered best if you start with the the New Testament. The gospel of Matthew is probably the best starting point.

I have the New King James Version. Its really good as I found the original KJV to be quite hard to read. This keeps the same charm as the old version, but makes parts easier to understand without undoing it.

Its a small carry Bible and at the back it has maps of the various parts of the new and old testaments, like a map of Palestine during Christs time and the trail he walked. His words are also printed in red.

Hope it works for you :)
