Ready to start OC'ing

1.10000, I'm not sure about the number of 0's but you get the idea. Do you recommend I lower the voltage to anything else?

not sure, mine is running at that, was going to start going lower but my new heatsink and fan should be here tomorrow and i have been at work the last couple of days.
i wouldnt put it down to vcore though, seems a tad high for just that. what does it max at when running something like OCCT?

I'm not sure I haven't got round to installing OCCT yet. I've just got speed fan running and monitoring my temps. My graphics card seems to be quite high aswell at around the 60-65 mark. I used to use smart doctor which would cool the card whenever it got over 50, but win7 doesn't seem to like the application.

dont think that is excessivly high for a gfx card.
i would do a few stress tests, might find yours idles high but doesnt rise to much under load.

Ok cool, well i think I'll see what the temps read when I install my new cooler, and if the temps are still high at 2.67ghz then I know theres a more serious problem.
In the meantime I've got my side panel off and the temps are down to the mid 60's at running OS, 64bit Shiretoko, Wintv7 and speed fan.

well if you have the side of the case off, dig out a desk fan you tucked away for the summer and blast that in there, should make the temp drop :D

have you attempted any kind of oc yet?
something i will try tomorrow i think as its getting late now, but maybe even going up to 3-3.2GHz wont raise the temps anymore.

when you start let us know. i just tried changing the BLK setting to 150 to see if 3GHz was possible as my temps are sitting around 70-72 now, but pc failed to boot, just went mental with beeping :( not sure why as im sure it wouldnt be temp related pre post.

Got my titan cooler fitted and windows standing idle is running at 28C-35C, under full load I'm getting 48C-50C. Not bad considering I've been running the system at 80C-99C with the retail cooler. Man I don't think I'll ever go with another retail again.

Here's some shots of my rig:
