Real in the Kaka

Sorry - where are the idiots who wondered if Kaka was ever worth £60m and maybe they should get their collective heads out of their collective arses if they're not even going to bother watching the domestic league (and seemingly the Champions League) in which he was so devastating for years - more so than Cristiano Ronaldo whose price doesn't even get discussed by said people.

Yes his form at Real was dire but at the time he was signed, he was worth MORE than Real paid for him on the basis of what Manchester City offered just six months earlier. They'd inflated his value but not by £40-48m.

It seems some people are also oblivious to the fact that the Italian, Spanish and English leagues are all significantly different to one another meaning that in many cases, a player will not excel in all of them or even two of them. That gets tied into the first point I'm making. There was no guarantee Ronaldo would suit Real and Kaka wouldn't, it could have gone the other way around.

Think you need to learn some manners son. However, you location explains a great deal.

I'm not your son.

And what has my location got to do with anything? Last I checked, my manners were fine. What do you gain from trolling forums? Seem's like a huge waste of time. Is your life really that miserable you need to troll, to get some sort of enjoyment?

Not really, Ronaldo is one of those rare players that can play for any team in the world and will offer something, as he has the natural ability as well as determination. Can't say the same about Kaka unfortunately..

Don't think it matters much that Kaka is out for a couple of months, they do have a couple of outstanding young attacking players.

Remember the name, Sergio Canales.
Outstanding player already @ the age of 19.

A pity for Kaka given he wasn't all that great last season either, He will be back though given his talent and age (only 28).

it's another heinous piece of internet journalism whereby a piece of information that could have been expressed in 6 words: 'Kaka had a successful knee Operation' has been distorted and mangled into a 'story', and by story I mean hideous and abysmal waste of everyone's time and bandwidth.

I'd like to see Ronaldo in Serie A, I'm not so sure he'd adjust to it quickly hence my original point. I'd also offer that Kaka does have a lot of natural ability (and an amount of determination) although yes, something is clearly wrong at Real. I just wonder if the problem for the main is actually Real Madrid and their relaxed attitude to training when it comes to their star players. Perhaps Ronaldo thrives in the environment whereas Kaka, having spent the majority of his professional career at Milan, is missing the focused tactical nature of training in Italy. That and he got way too used to playnig a single role at Milan - central, behind the strikers - and can't adapt the way that we all know Ronaldo can.

Or, perhaps I should give up typing now.

I fully expect the nonsensical situation at Real Madrid where they regularly sign top players for hefty fees, only to ship them on a couple of seasons later after they've 'flopped' to stop under Mourinho. He's far too good a man-manager and motivator to allow that to happen, once (or if) Kaka regains his fitness, Mourinho will having playing like he should.

Agree with you, to say Kaka isn't naturally talented and determined it just wrong. I'd argue he has the same (I personally think more) natural ability as Ronaldo, but Ronaldo has obviously taken his body to the absolute limits and therefore is more effective as a player now, that said, Kaka is far from lazy. It just hasn't clicked yet which is in part down to a new league, team mates, manager and style of play and in part down to a season heavily disrupted by injury.

Not to mention Ronaldo is the golden boy over in Madrid, he can do no wrong. You constantly see him trying to do ridiculous things, shots, dribbles that will NEVER come off etc. and it never gets brought up, yet if he gets a shot out of 10 right it's all over the papers.

hangbags down lads, this aint oldham on a saturday night u know.

Kaka was clearly an exceptional player. you just have to watch him at Milan. he was sensational. id say he almost knocked man utd of of the champs league twice on his own with his pace, power and direct play.

so he got injured and failed to deliver at Real? not like it hasnt happened before. or that it wont happen again.

you could see simply enough by looking at my profile...

You seem to be confusing banter with an argument between me and the little goon.

A bit like when you confuse football knowledge with your own opinion.
