Big big game, as big as Man U vs Chelsea

Real Madrid Played 30 Points 77
Barcelona Played 30 Points 77

Not really interested in foreign football but this is biggest game out of the EPL.

I reckon Real Madrid will win but only just...they NEED to win something and they are playing at home. Barcelona still have the Champions League to worry about.

2-1.

If Madrid play well, they will win provided Barca are still in the Champs League at that point, which they most likely will be :p

If Madrid play all over the place and fail like they have on quite a few occasions, Barca will hammer them.

My money would be on Barca for 1-0, though.

This is about Arsenal's only hope tomorrow, Barca had to play mallorca just before the 1st leg, Bilbao this weekend, Arsenal tomorrow and Real at the weekend. Mallorca and Bilbao aren't bad teams at all this year so Barca didn't go for hugely weakened line ups or rest as many as they maybe normally would have done.

Its a huge game, Real have a fantastic home record, and lately have gone behind quite frequently and faught back well. INfact, they've gone behind by a couple goals on lots of occasions, they don't seem to be a first half team in the slightest, 2nd half they tend to turn it on big time.

Real have also obviously not got a game midweek so should be more rested, then thanks to us PIque/Puyol will also be rested.

A Real win would actually give a better end of season run as one of these games they are 2-0 down at half time they won't come back from, I can see them dropping more points before the end of the season than Barca.

Either way, might be one of the best games of the season, in all honesty if every Barca player is on form they should be capable of winning. Real have injuries, some pee poor defenders and Kaka/benzema have been a complete waste of time and seemingly not playing as much meaning Granero, Gaga and Guti have been playing more.

Both have VERY in form Argentinian strikers banging goals in every week, both have a world class winger/striker, both have some fairly dodgey fullbacks and injuries.

EDIT:- I say its Arsenals only hope as I'm sure the majority of players, especially the longer term/spanish players care more about winning the league and Real not winning the league, than the Champs league. Losing the champs league is seen as a letdown but not huge, losing the league to Real is almost unthinkable. If they are tired, the other game is on their mind or they rest players looking towards the Real game it could help Arsenal out.

If points are equal between two or more clubs, head-to-head results usually determine their placement. The first tiebreaker used when two teams are even on points is the goal difference resulting from the two matches between the clubs in question, then goal difference if needed. If head-to-head results are not sufficient to separate teams, goal difference over the entire season, then total goals scored in the season may be used.

It was 1-0 to Barca last time out by the way, personally I still think Barca will nick this game too, Madrid just aren't good enough to beat decent European opposition

One of the biggest games in Europe and World club level football.

El Clássssssssssssssssico

Can't wait! :D

Madrid have also won every single game they have played at home this season...also 1 goal seperates them both on goal difference!

I think Madrid are going to sneak a win..simply because Barca are playing in midweek. Its very similar to man u - chelsea in that man u played a hard game mid week and looked so tired for the weekend..This is off course assuming its a tough game for them tomorrow, and not a steam roll over Arsenal, which it probably, and hopefully will be :p

I'm predicting a first half lead, maybe quite big, lots of "woo Barca rule Real suck, screw your big spending" type posts, then a huge comeback in the second half and probably a Real win, its what they do basically. Barca are a first half team, and REal are a second half team this season.

EDIT:- I'm fairly sure almost the entire Barca squad looks worse than last year except Messi. Henry, Zlatan for Eto, Iniesta, Xavi, Toure, the defence in general. I haven't seen them play as good football, the goals from Henry and a few others aren't exactly flying in.

Strange when Guardiola said he had never seen Barca play so well after the 1st leg of the champions league. I don't think you can use the domestic form as a yard stick as both teams are obviously head and shoulders about the rest
