Heya.

It is well established that chicks dig guys who can shake there stuff on the dance floor. Unfortunately I am hopeless lacking even the basic fundamentals of rhythm and coordination... While I will probably never be a Gene Kelly etc. I do wonder if I practice for (lets say) 30 minutes every night for the next year if I'll reach a standard where women might be impressed by my moves in a club or local Walkabout etc?

Lessons are a no no but I do have an Xbox 360 along with a Kinect device. If I purchased a dancing game such as the one linked below do you think I can achieve my goals. As an aside I really like star wars so that might give me some extra motivation to practice. What do you think?

No, because without the interaction of a real person (e.g. An instructor) you will have no way of knowing if you are improving or simply moving like you're having a seizure

But the kinect monitors my movements and scores me based on timing and accuracy. So if my score goes up surely I am improving.

But seriously, who is actually a good dancer by the standards of their parents/grandparents? Most "dancing" I've seen in my lifetime from my peers equates to wobbling around violently, or having some kind of semi-rhythmic seizure.

I was a good dancer back in the day, 90s Dance scene was insane, was also fairly good at break dancing, the odd windmill still impress the ladies :D

We really need to see what we're working with here. Please upload one of your sessions.

You're seriously considering spending 30 mins every night for a year playing a dancing game in the hope that 'chicks' will 'dig' you when you rock up at your local Walkabout?

Things went downhill when male to female body contact was lost - all this jigging around pulling faces at each other isn't dancing.

Anyway OP you just get out there and have a go - you will be scared pooless but it will soon pass unless you are Mr Stiffy.

No but put a low cut dress on and stream on twitch and you can roll in the donations for a possible nip slip.
