I think I have a problem related to this but the drive is probably is still usable. Ive got HIRENS cd utils and Ive done a low level format and samsung diagnostics and all that jazz but the drive is still not reliable as far as I can tell
I want a util to go through the disk, examine it and marked off anything that might lose data. The samsung diag just goes to 2% on the surface scan then finishes giving a full 10/10 for health which is obviously not right.
The disk is full of testing utils, which one is best?
