Hi,

A few of the elements are not working and was wondering if there are any products (conductive pens) that actually work, or should I just get it repaired? If so, how much will it be?

Chuck a brick through the window and claim on your insurance for £50 (won't affect your NCB if fully comp). :)

Never tried conductive pens but I'd be weary of them actually working efficiently. I'd try soldering a piece of duty wire across the broken gap, something that can take a bit of heat like a piece of paper clip etc.

I thought that was only windscreens?

One of mine is broken too, it adds to the 'character' ;)

You've got more chance of damaging it more by trying to solder something to it. The conductive pens/paints fix them very well. They're only practically painted on anyway!

I'd give the pens a go then if you're not fully comp, you can't exactly make it worse.

Nope, well unless it states windscreen only I guess?

One of my ex's had a bottle put through her back window and sorted that through insurance. Others have had side windows done etc :)
