I also like it now if you quote someone there is a link to the original post in the quote. :)

These are not changes as such. The forums have been updated to the latest vrsion of vBulletin. This not only changes/updates some features but more importantly has a great deal more security than previouse versions.

I don't like the unread messages being in bold - slightly harder to read and looks really strange to me. Not a big deal though, I'm glad search is back.
 
I think it looks terrible.

The lack of gap between sub-forums on the main screen just turns the whole view into one large mess.

The date stamp at the top of each post just chops up the threads and makes them less readable.

Usernames need to be bold again.

Unread posts look awkward in bold.
 
Not keen on the new visual changes such as poster's name not being bold and gaps between posts. I'm sure I'll get used to it though, and improved security is of greater significance.
 
I just found the new Edit function.

Ah and the smileys are in a different order. :confused:

There is quite a big gap below everyones sigs in each post and the box to the left of each post seems wider now.

Other than that I can't really say I noticed any difference. :)
 
Usernames are difficult to distinguish as others have said. Otherwise, like it. :)

EDIT: Where's the official Spie announcement? :p
