[REC] 2

Loved the original, just watched it recently after it was suggested on the Mark Kermode blog, didnt realise there was a follow up planned...
 
Thought the original was excellent, looking forward to this. I hope that it retains the 'feel' of the original as a big budget may ruin it.
 
I must be the only person that prefers Quarantine. The shoddy production of REC distracts me from the film so much I cant enjoy it. Everything about it just stinks, the lighting, the fact it wasnt recorded on film (I think?) makes it look really amateurish.

I'll still end up watching this though, zombies ***.

Definitely worth watching the first one. It was deliberately filmed on a handheld camera for the "documentary" look, which gives it a grainy, authentic appearance. No music, either. A very immersive movie.
 
Where do you want to start? We can begin with the fact that it was American, and go steadily downhill from there.
 
I'll watch it for the sake of continuing the storyline, but the original Rec was ruined for me by the lead actress constant screaming throughout.
