Reccomend a graphics card

Yea the 460 ffs.

Wtf is wrong with you?

OP, if you can stretch your budget to £100, either get GTX 260 or HD 4870. If you shop around there's even a 5770 512MB that costs only £93 plus £7 delivery and the other sells it for £97 delivered. Asus 4870 1GB can be had for £80 plus delivery. The cheapest GTX260 is available here at OcUK. Radeon 4890 costs £110.

Performance wise these cards would be in this order:

Radeon 5750
Radeon 5770
GeForce 260
Radeon 4870
Radeon 4890

Overall value I would list them as below:

Radeon 5750
Radeon 4870
GeForce 260
Radeon 5770
Radeon 4890

Plus Corsair CX 400W is a great suggestion, it costs only £30 and will power up any mid-low rig for ages.

Nothing is wrong with me. In the long term I'm trying to save the OP money.

There's absolutely no benefit to being tight now, and then having to buy a new card next year.

What about a 2nd hand 5770. If the op can stretch to about £90 he can pick one up in the mm?

He doesn't and he won't have access to the MM.

People, start thinking ffs.

Have you ever built a budget PC?

what happened to 'looking for GFX card for around £80'? how on earth does £80 translate into a £160 GTX 460

Easy. Multiply £80 by 2 and wala! £160 :D

On the serious note, the OP clearly stated 'must be less than £80', so people would think any (much) higher price is not an option, however now that the OP has clarify £80 is not the absolute budget, then that open to lots more options.

Between £140 and £180, the GTX460 768MB and the GTX460 1GB is what you should consider. Unless you got some personal preference of ATI over Nvidia, I wouldn't recommend the 5830 over the GTX460 768MB considering that both are similiarly priced, but the GTX460 768MB is faster in most cases:

At £200 there's the 5850, then at £220 there's GTX470. Both are decent cards, but the GTX470 is faster...at the cost of higher power consumption, higher temp and nosier:
