Received what I think is a battery with my Logitech replacement mouse.

If the mouse is a Performance MX you might be better off using that battery to get more than a days use out the stupid thing.

Tell me about it, my Performance MX has been a 3 year sentence rather than a mouse. 4 replacements and the wheel still doesn't click properly.

I had a Microsoft thing about 8 years ago that needed a new set of batteries every 6 months or less.

Performance MX lasts 5-7 days easily. I've had several over the years. It's the G700 that legitimately lasts a day maybe 2 on one charge. If you want genuine battery life from a gaming mouse then get the G602. That will give up to a few months of usage on one pair of batteries.

Don't understand the purpose of this thread. It's just a standard 12v lead-acid battery which are used for tons of different applications in the same way AA batteries are.

The only interesting thing about it is how large it appears to be for such a low capacity battery.

Looking at similar batteries is says the applications for it are -

Lawn mowers
Golf-caddies
Scooters
E-Bikes
Wheelchairs

It's far too low capacity to be used for any of those things, not that you would ever use this type of battery on an E-bike!

5-7 days  I'm lucky to get 2 less if I play Battlefield. Tried better batteries and gained a few hours extra at best.

+1 my peformance mx lasts about a week on a single charge, with the battery that came with it. I tried using a energizer 2400 mah battery but the included battery lasted longer.

Mine must be broken then. It's on charge every other day without fail. :(

Contact logitech, If nobody wants it back, botch it via a cable to the mouse's internal electronic power supply, change voltage using a voltage regulator somewhere along the line, and bam, instant long lasting battery.

Just inform logitech that the battery doesn't fit the mouse. Include pics for comparison. (Pic of attempts to insert battery into mouse).

Copy us in on the response :D

You really don't understand the need for this thread? Are you blind?#

The fact that someone asked for a mouse and got it along with a 12v battery doesn't seem odd to you at all?
