Rechargeable batteries

One thing I have realized is that you can turn the headset off completely by holding the power button then choosing power options and power off. This stops the headset and controllers from draining between uses.

Up until now I’ve just been pressing the power button to switch it off which only puts it to sleep.

yeah i think that could be a bit better handled to be honest. inwould rather have a software option to disable sleep all together and just have a quick tap to turn it off properly (as an option . i am not suggesting forcing it on people)

I’ve had better luck with GP Reyko than Eneloop, both very good and have their advantages/ unique use cases, but a little pricey. IKEA offer better value and good quality and are good all rounders for the price.

For use in a controller I wouldn’t go OTT, as pretty much any middle of road 2000 ish mah will be more than good enough for that kind of use case. I have all sorts of nimh cells and I’d rather have a bunch of half decent cells with a decent slow charger than few highend cells getting rapid charged.
