Recognising people

Get this all the time but I'm a fairly big guy, 6'4 and fairly big. Had a girl recognise me the other day who worked as a waitress in a food pub a year ago that I went in say 8-9 times over 6 months? So bizarre as it was a large pub that had a few hundred covers on a slow day!

I probably get recognised constantly at college, but most people just accept the fact that I'm "the guy in the poster" and don't bother commenting on it. I get the occasional knob who tries to be funny by shouting something out when he's with his mates, but hey-ho. I also see the exact same people every day on the bus going to college, and in certain places at college as well (I guess my 'routine' just makes it so I end up seeing the same people quite frequently).

Outside of college, though (bar the bus of course), I rarely recognise anyone, so I doubt anyone recognises me either.

I'm good with faces but totally useless with names. Even to the extent that i entirely forget names of people i've worked with for a year or more. It causes no small embarrassment for me it really does.
