Recommend me a good mouse guys.

I recently bought a Kone, which isn't bad - but I still haven't found anything that has the weight or shape as the Logitech G5/MX518. Those two mice are still going to be my next purchases.

I have the Razer diamondback mouse, and i just cannot get use to it, the side buttons i do not like it feels way to light.

I have come from a extremely old microsoft mouse the first optical mouse. I think i need a mouse which is big for hands but also very hightech.

Just not sure which mouse would fit the bill right now.

Logitech G5!! Best mouse I've ever had.

It has adjustable weights as well if weight ever bothers you

Definitely Logitech MX518.

I've had the same one for 3-4 years and it still functions perfectly. The glider feet eventually fall off but but you can get absolutely free replacements from Logitech website.

I had the G5 briefly but I found it felt odd (despite the weight management thing) and it's glider feet were too slippery for my liking against a table surface, causing innaccuracy in FPS games. For this reason the G5 doesn't provide precision as good as the MX518, so I was glad as hell to sell it and go back to my old mouse :)

MX518 is honestly perfect.

+ 1 for Logitech MX518.

Mine's 14 months old and works beautifully. No other mouse I've owned has made it past a year without going a bit squiffy.

1 - Logitech G5
2 - Logitech MX518

1 if you're flush, 2 if you want to save a couple of quid. Both excellent and both I use every day (G5 at home, MX518 at work).

hope this isnt too hi-jacky fied but i need a mouse too

but

im left handed so any that have a curve are out

i also hold the mouse kinda funny (so im told) i dont rest my palm on the top, I grip the sides and only the tips of my fingers press the buttons down, so side butons might be a problem.

i really need to get it sorted my current mouse is actually giving me hand pain now after 3 hour wow sessions :) (i think its because i use the full width of the screen for myhotkeys and maybe the dpi is too low ?? )

my current mouse is a no longer available from oc/uk logitech ,bog standard optical with mouse wheel affair. I think it was about £14.

help !!

Sounds to me like you could be well suited towards a Razer mouse if you fancy a gaming one as they easily fit your requirements i.e. symetrical sides, low profile for claw grip holders. The cheapest ones are the Krait, Diamondback or Copperhead and they are great. I have a Diamondback myself that is still currently in use after nearly 4 years.

If you want a bog standard mouse, that Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000 may fit the bill too.

i have a G5 and had problems when gaming, if i moved the mouse too fast then it spazzed out and lost control. Just received the Deathadder today gonna test it out this evening, but have to say its nice looking and very comfortable! plus its got a swish glowing blue logo on it :P
