These big teflon pads on my G7, whats the best surface to preserve them? (obviously using my desk is a bad idea, but seems to be the best surface for aiming accuracy), my func 1030 is getting worn down (had it for a few years now)

Never had any issues with my MX1000. I love it's sheer practicality out of games aswell. My brother has a G5 which is uses to play CS to a very competitive level with so i would suggest that for gaming.
Heard brilliant things about the G7 aswell although never used one personally. Same goes for the MX518!

Never did send the 1.1 back to them and they never got back to me, what's more the 1.1 pretty much fixed itself wee
I had one before this MX500. When my 3.0 broke I got a replacement 4.0 for free, but it's the worst mouse ever.Ripper^ said:MS 3.0

3.0 was close to perfection. MS should improve the dpi and release it as a gaming mouse.
in conclusion 3.0 or MX500+ ***
