Recommend me an Air Cooler

Do you have to have the pipe running out to a window? Does it fit all windows? How long is the pipe? My window is at least 1.5-2 meters away from where the bottom of the machine would be.

I got a Princess 12k BTU one last year, noisy as hell and vibrates the hell out of the floor so you can't sleep with it on, but it works well. Yes, you get a sticky velcro seal to stick to the inside frame, you stick the pipe out the window and zip it closed, sealing the window. You have to do this to stop the cold air escaping and hot air coming back. The pipe which came with mine probably extends to around 2m, but it's very rigid

You can't go wrong with Noctua NHD15 or Be quiet Dark Rock pro 4. I prefer Noctua. It is big though

That was my thoughts too, as the OP posted in GD, not in PC hardware. At the moment, I'm still fine with using a Dyson bladeless fan, and when Summer properly kicks in, I'll be using aircon.

Air coolers don’t work well in the UK as they rely on evaporating water which works well in low humidity countries.

That was going to be my back up plan. Air con units for a very large bedroom seem to be expensive.

I am also concerned that my closest open window is high up and the hose may not be long enough/a faff to set up.
