Recommend me cider !!!

All this information, I've wanted to stray from the mainstream cider aswell. I'm more of an ale guy though. Let us know what you think Side Winder. :) If you have I missed it sorry.

Another vote here for Kopparberg Pear, but do give Summer Fruits a go too. I've also had a pink one in Wetherspoons but I can't remember the actual flavour!

I also like the St Helier Ciders. Their apple is the nicest bottled cider I've tasted, and they do a Raspberry & Lime and a blueberry one, both of which are delicious!

I am going to recommend Kopparberg. Simply put - it's the nicest alcoholic drink i've ever tasted and have been a bit of a Kopparberg fiend for the last couple of years. I like the Winter Fruits one (which i think they have renamed to Mixed Fruits), but the Pear and Summer Fruits ones are just as nice. Also, if you can find it, try Strawberry flavour - tis very nice, but a bit sweet! (also rare in this country as it's only sold in certain parts of europe i think!).

cider is crap drink some lager with 5.0% vol

lol. Just lol. Many ciders are about 4.5%-5.0% volume. What ciders have you tasted btw? I'm guessing white lightning.

Natch, Kingston Press, Ashton Press, and the ultimate - Stowfords press...

Thatchers and Cheddar Valley are nice too, but are rather cloudy and seem to be almost too effective if you catch my drift! Maybe try Addlestones first...

Here in Bristol we have an entire bar devoted to Ciders (and perry)... :D

EDIT: Warning, that Brothers "Festival Strength" stuff is pretty lethal, gave me and a few mates a numb forehead! Don't say I didn't warn ya...

oooh addlestones, forgot about that stuff. found some in a bar near a station on way to twickenham. was quite nice :D

^^^^^^^^

Used to drink kingston press like it was water back at uni in Nottingham, awesome stuff.

Addlestones is nice, but can give rotten feeling the next day.

Old rosie in whetherspoons tastes like socks, but then after a few sips it tastes great.

Gaymers, bulmers etc are too sweet and pretentious :p

I go to a place called middle farm they make there own cider and have a huge variety that you can try before you buy:cool:. I'm pretty sure its like a chain any way I love this stuff called little red rooster, best to have it dry;) rather than sweet as it gives a killer hang over And its seriously STRONG!

Old Rosie.

I dare you to try to drink more than 4 pints of the stuff.

Done 6, wasn't great the next day. But cheap and awesome stuff, a different kind of drunkeness.

But I did start saying 'Yarrrrrrrrr', and 'Ooooo arrrrrrr' a lot whilst on it :D

Kopparberg is horrible sweet sugar water wee, horrbile horrible stuff, and cider for women !!!!
