Recommend me some H4 Xenon Bulbs please!

just an update, i went for the http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk own brand ones, BOGOF with free side bulbs, £18 all in and next day delivery

the difference from the £5 job bulbs from BP is immense imo, i can see signs lit up further now and at night i can see more around the front of the car clearer and brighter, very happy with these :)

any1 got any photos

of before and after type things ?

ive looked at the phillips blue vision, and the vision plus, but ive got this horrible feeling the blue vision will have that horrible "fake HID" look that so many of these kits have.

ive seen other kits that people have, that look faintly like HID, but you can tell they're just not right, then when they go by, and its a mk4 escort, you know they're aftermarket

trouble is, you cant exactly stop em and say "what bulbs you got mate ?" can you.

if money no object, Piaa Spark blue or something, had them in my Fiesta, and they are comparible with the light output on my HID equiped focus now. Cost 70 a couple of years back, but well worth the money.

I have since got myself some from HIDs4U - they do work very very well. :)

Really easy to fit. Does the clio have 2 bulbs i.e. 1 for dipped 1 for main?

I had to go for the bixenon ones as I only have 1x H4 bulbs which does both main beam and dipped.

It took me about 30 mins to fit - I can take pictures this evening if you're interested. :)

That would be fantastic :)

Clio has a H7 and H1 bulbs, Ian on hids4u said i need to replace the Dipped beam and keep my main as is unless i want to get 2x HID kits!

Main thing i'm curious about is the size of the ballast and location of fitting, i'm thinking about this kit :

I have that kit in the mondeo together with another kit that des high beam. Only thing I have noticed with it is that when you have your sidelights on your headlights don't illuminate, ie before the kit I think my headlights got 6volts so were illuminated but dim, but as the starting voltage of the kit is 9v they no longer illuminate. Just passed an MOT with both kits in so I presume thats not a major issue.

Sounds good, Main problem is the clio has that auto light feature and i don't want the mains turning off and on, when my side lights are on my dipped beams don't get any power at all so thats ok ;)

Could you post some pics of the Pilots ;)
