Recommend some File Recovery software!

Hey all,

I stupidly deleted a lot of files using Shift- Delete. Can anyone recommend a program they have used to successfully recover these files?

There are about 500Gb of files deleted, I wouldn't mind getting it all back, but anything I can get would be a bonus!

So far I have tried Pandora, but that only found 80 image files (album covers) and then crashed.

Recuva. works very well has saved me more than once.

I second this - has helped me numerous times in the past when people have accidentally deleted things, and it has the bonus of being free.

Just restore them from your backup drive

-edit, Recuva is a good free solution

getdataback seems to be one of the best paid ones (the trial tells you which files you'll be able to recover)

The less you use the drive, the better. If it's your main drive, take it out and run it in a USB caddy in another pc

Always use file scavenger at work with good success
