Unless you need water proofing - some thinsulate woolly ones - though there are a lot of knock-off which aren't actually thinsulate and/or ones that use thinsulate in the name but don't have the thinsulate layer :(

this morning on bike V , have tube shifters work fine, used for running/mountains too, probably 15 years old, insulation is still reasonable despite gripping.

mittens can be too tight, never sure what ideal air-space is, shrank my emergency dachsteins
pile inners on a pair of mountain equipment mittens has become compressed over the years with little residual insulation, too

There was a later show just called Fingermouse.

Yeah he was getting too big for his boots and thought he deserved to be earning more than the rest of the cast and get top billing. In the end Tortoise to him to do one.

Hence Fingermouse. The spinoff didn't last long and fingermouse took to drink. He died of a drugs overdose a couple of years later. Sad really.
