Get a wall plug power meter, cost £10 - £15.

That will tell you what your current setup is pulling AC side. Decent PSUs, as being discussed in this thread are all rated DC side, ie what the components use.

If the PSU is rated as ~90% efficient, take the wall plug reading and 90% of that is roughly what DC side setup is using.

Then when the 50xx GPU is released you can look at a review which states power usage to assess if your PSU is fine to use.

IMO Techpowerup reviews are decent for power usage information. W1zzard even states the power spikes readings.

A wall plug power meter saved me spending £££ on new PSU when I didn't need it. Used that £££ on other hardware to enjoy.

You are right indeed! I found a listing showing the new 12v-2x6 connector! I was looking at the Corsair website and could not see it indicated on there.

Yeah, was looking at the latest one with ATX3.1 standards; though I might have to look at getting 1200W.
