Today, Rockstar finally confirmed the news PC cowboys have been waiting for: Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on PC. Few details were revealed in the announcement, but the studio did commit to a release date of November 5, with special bonuses available to players who pre-purchase through the Rockstar Games Launcher starting October 9th.

Fantastic news. Started it on PS4, but it just didn’t look good. Broken HDR and blurry.

Rgl first, steam in December.

I bet it’s gonna need a hefty card to run it well and a ****load of SSD space. 1070 or above for recommended imo.

RGL and EGS in November, Steam in December. Quite a few bonuses for preordering, but you get even more on RGL. All seems pretty smart of them.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC will also be available to pre-order at the Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers starting October 23rd with a pre-order bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. You can get a free trial of PlayStation Now and play it on there. Bit janky though as it's less than 720p. The Xbox One X plays it best at 4K.

Have this on Xbox One, its one of the best games I have ever played. I don't think I will get it on PC until it's cheap as it will probably be just the same but improved graphics and it looks and plays great anyway.

I've got it on ps4, but only got to the first town past the starting area. Can't wait to play it on PC, will wait for steam release tho

Out of interest why? I don't really care what platform I buy it on. It comes down to price.

I got abit into the PS4 pro version and stopped. Horrible frame rate and the controller just made gun fights not very enjoyable for me.
