Yeah fair shout, I might need a slightly newer rig fore that so chance to smash some OT in, not upgraded for nearly 4 years¬
 
This might be the first time I actually double-dip as the game is incredibly detailed and atmospheric and I love almost everything about it. Then again, I'm on Chapter 6 on PS4 Pro and it might take a while until I'll want to replay it considering it's a massive timesink.
Also, not sure my 1070 can handle it at 1440p, it already looks amazing on consoles.
 
This is impossible because the first game didn't come to PC...

The hype has gone for me and having not played the first and hearing about R* plan to not release any dlc and instead milk the online like they did with GTA, It'll be a wait and see from me. GTAV online is un playable on PC due to the hackers in every single game.

I'll be the first to admit I did not think it would come to PC, so they have proved me wrong.

Also GTAO is not has bad as you are making out. I have 5500 hours and stay well away from modders just buy setting own private session and inviting people into it. If I want to play in open warfare then I will just swap session.
 
It is for me. I have tried to play it numerous times and every single time the chat is filled with kids asking modders for money etc. I always play with the mode that stops people being able to attack you, yet that doesn't stop modders entering my car and blowing it up and even entering my apartment. Tried to do the missions with my brother and every time the other team were hacking and were bullet proof. Maybe if I played 5k hours i'd get a few normal games in, but the fact 90% of the time I was getting **** on by modders made it so I could only play for a hundred or so before giving up.
 
steam needs to wake up before it becomes a dinosaur. people want game at launch. whoever has the purse needs to open it up a little.
