Red Dead Redemption 2

Might just work from home tomorrow.

Got lots to do. :D

Not surprised it doesn’t hit 4K/60 maxed out, you still can’t do that in GTAV if you tweak everything to ultra, and when did that come out.

Oh and some **** posted the ending on the Nvidia drivers comments....

Glad I didn’t see it although I’m pretty sure I know what it is. Not 100% though as I saw in some YT comment ages ago.

I’ve just ignored RDR2 gameplay/news etc and just going to enjoy the game in 4k 60hz glory tomorrow .

Just started the DL 10 mins ago, getting around 6mbs so about 5 hours to go.
Must finish off a couple of other games before the weekend before I allow myself to get immersed in this.

Wonder if they will do a VR version?......

I Just don't see why they could be looking to do a 13:00 GMT unlock as being touted. That is 08:00 EST and 05:00 PST... Just seems wrong.

Tell me about it, I'm wfh today but I need to be in the office tomorrow, however, I'm going to wake up early to get an hour of playtime in before I head to the office tomorrow morning :D

So a 2080 Ti can't even run the game 60fps at maxed settings. For the price of that GPU i would be expecting 120/144fps.

Spending over 300 GBP on a GPU is a mugs game. 2080 Ti owners must feel like a bunch of buffoons.

lol :p

Im actually pretty pumped for this now, even though I played it through on the 1X. Im going to take my sweet time and really enjoy every side quest. Going to try and keep good karma this time, too easy to be a bad cowboy

Indeed, what the blazes is going on with the PC code?

No way of knowing the exact settings/hardware/clocks used i guess. And even then how comparable those settings are to console.

For all we know low could be xbx/ps4 pro territory. And they are still running 30fps or lower. half the required performance using the same settings. Its also likely as usual the ultra-mega-super settings will be a massive drop in perf for next to no visual improvement.

Will find out tomorrow i guess .

Nvidia recommends a minimum of an RTX 2060 for 60 FPS on high settings at 1080p? Surely that's not right? I'm beginning to have doubts about my 1070 now, haha!
