I hope it's happening.

Although I already finished it on PS3. The mexico portion was terrible. Rest was good game, mostly. A bit repetitive.
 
there is a small valley between relaxing and creepy similar to the uncanny valley effect noticed when playing games with nice graphics.
 
I'm 36, I'm above childish internet hyping.

But for this, for THIS. What does the kids say these days?? ZOMG HYPE!!!!!

Is it as fun as a gta game like the missions and freedom. What i like in gta is missions and can drive anything i want by nicking it. What kinda stuff do u nick in a western game lol.

Always thought since it got a lot of praise it would be nice to have on pc. Never really looked at it on utube as didnt want to spoil it if it did come.

But i dunno why i should be hyped, can u explain why?

Has it been announced yet on that twitch?

Open world, truly, in every sense. Horse back riding accross deserts to get to snowy mountain tops, trekking through marshes hunting down crims to lasoo, drag and hand in for cash. Stories behind everything.

Collectable, crafting, guns, outfits and many more!

Amazing story.

Out of a few western set games. This is the daddy. The best old school western cowboy game out there.
 
What about if the game is great but your not that keen on westerns?

Is there just horses for transport, if so is it a bit boring traveling back and forth to places on horse back all the time. Is there not horse and carts, steam trains to hijack. Etc?

I cant say why you should be hyped for a remake, everyone experiences games differently, but for me playing the original, for me RDR was probably the most unexpectedly brilliant titles i have ever played, I'm not particularly interested in Western style stuff, I dont think it was any one thing, i think a number of factors came together in a setting that maybe shouldnt have worked but a combination of gameplay, story, backstory, characters, music(so beautifully done), the same style of dark humor that you would find in GTA, all came together to make something beautiful.
Probably one of the most satisfying and enjoyable gaming experiences i've had in years.
 
Hmm catched the end of the stream, no RDR news from what i saw. Unless it was on earlier but then it would have been posted here. Ah well.
