It's open world like GTA, you can kill anyone, rob stores do a ton of side missions etc.

It's not as stealy as GTA mind. The atmosphere is what does it for me and many people.

I've never wanted to be a cowboy (or felt like one!) more than when I was playing RDR. Amazing atmosphere.

Completed it two times on PS3 and it's one of the best games ever made IMO, far better than GTA 4 and should give 5 a run for its money.

The graphics, animations, shooting mechanics and story/atmosphere were all amazing.

Its not just you feel like a cowboy in the game - you feel like your in one of those really good spegetti westerns like with Clint Eastwood.

Its one of those special games that comes along like

Civilization
Dune 2
and many more
Games that literally shook up the video game business - Part of me thinks Rockstar knows this - so to do a remake or a sequel - I wonder if they feel they just can't do it or live up to the hype.

I think the only hope is that for those that have never owned a PS3 or xbox console is to hope Sony get this on PS NOW and you can stream the game via PS NOW on your PC

I don't think RDR is ever hitting PC. : - (

This is the one game that made me tempted to pick a console up for at the time, would love a PC release but rumours get thrown around every 6 month that it's coming and nothing ever appears.

I've never understood why R* have never bothered to put this on PC. They must know this would probably make them more money from pc gamers than any gta would.

GTA5 has been in the Steam top-10 for, what, two years?

This would be popular, no mistake, but there aint no bigger business than GTA.
