Looks awesome. Loved the physics in GTAIV and they look just as good and better here. The bit where he shoots the guy of the horse looks unbelievably good! Sad that i admire a bit like that, but it does really look amazing! :D

Any pre-order deals yet? Probably too early. Discount code on TheHut brings the normal version down to £32.93.

Placed my order on there for now. Discount code expires in 2 days, so may as well use it and wait and see if there are any better ones that come along.
 
Anybody else bracing themselves for slowdowns/frame rate issues a la GTA4?

I highly suspect it will be brushed under the carpet come review time much like they did with GTA4.

Having said that though, I'm hoping Rock* have had time to tweak the engine and get it ever so slightly better this time round, but I'm not going to convince myself that it will be issue free and then be gutted that there are indeed performance issues.
 
I wonder if it is worth getting the limited edition over the standard edition. If I can get those items through playing the game I think I'd do that. Doubt you can though!
 
That's what I want to know as well. I've looked around the internet but can find no mention if those extras are also unlockable throughout the game.

The only possible one is the golden guns, as I imagine the War Horse can be obtained as can the dead eye outfit. But who knows.

It would be nice to know though before I get the game. Wiki mentions that the outfit can be unlocked later in the game and also menions the war horse is ultra rare, sounds hopeful that these can be obtained through normal play.

Probably will have the same "issues" as GTAIV had engine wise. The frame rate is a bit choppy in some of the videos.

Tbh the frame rate never bothered me in GTAIV on the 360, never dropped to an unplayable level.
