Red Dead Redemption Thread

haven't got a copy yet just have not had the time but enjoy reading the feedback in this thread. Just a question, can you fall off your horse and is there hookers in the game?

Haven't fallen of my horse yet, but when you shoot enemies their foot sometimes hangs on. As for hookers, no you're married and have a kid :p

You fall of your horse if you heel it too much. Also, wild life can attack horse horse causing you to go flying.

Just been doing hunting challengers for 3 hours and haven't got bored yet.

Amazing game. Those cougars are a pain the ass though. They're like ninja's of the west. lol.

Treasure Hunting is really fun! The maps aren't that hard, but its cool taking a breather, slowing things down and having a nosy about :)

Some woman just yelled for help, when i went to help her she dragged me off my horse and tried to steal it, unlucky for her i got my shotgun out and blasted her in the back of the head as she road off.

she did that with me too,but i managed to pull her straight off, then i jumpped on my horse lassoed her and dragged her for miles behind my horse, then shot her,i just wished i realised i could have put her on the train tracks :(

Had that happen a few times.

If someone nicks your horse, push the call horse button (Up on the D-Pad) and the horse will kick the person off :p

how would u guys rate it? is there much to do in the open world or is it still bound to the repetitiveness that is gta4

In 12 months time if you asked me if I wanted to play GTA IV or Red Dead Redemption for 6 hours straight; I would pick GTA IV.

I'm loving RDR, but once the story is finished I think the baron landscapes will bore me very quickly. At least in GTA there is a bit more variety due to the vehicles, car chases, urban environments etc.

I think you'd be hard pushed to say that RDR is less repetitive than GTA4, if anything it's the opposite due to the barren landscape.

Squirrel, who is Baron Landscapes when he's at home? :p
