Red Dead Redemption Thread

They're very similar but try going back and playing a little GTA 4. I did the other day and the gunplay in RDR is superior in every way, including the cover system.
 
mine just froze on me,i gave myself up to the law because i had a bounty on me,and it went to loading screen where your in jail and froze,loads of bugs in this game at mo
 
this game is sweet! still blown away by the graphics, esp in mexico, spend a couple of hours doing some challenges earlier, was hunting coyotes using bait at the bottom of hills and then waiting at the peak for any unsuspecting wildlife, be careful at dawn though those cougers are serious predators! they scare the hell out of me when they pounce out of nowhere and knock you down.
 
Can't believe people have done the story already. I'm around 15 hours in and most of that is doing other stuff rather than doing the story... lol.

Also, wasted 3 hours trying to get the ringer trophy. lol.

OK, the reason I ask is that I unlocked an item for my Home avatar. The PSN avatars should be under the Account / Avatar options on the XMB. You might have to choose "Premium" or something in the drop-down list on the avatar window.
 
This game sounds amazing. The last truly great game that amazed me was GTA San Andreas. Seems like Rockstar has done it again.
