Have noticed over the last couple of months that the house seems to be attracting more dust than normal? This I'm sure is due to having the heating on more this time of year.

However, besides hoovering and dusting more often, I wondered if there's any type of cheap gizmo that can help in reducing dust?

Especially as the PC seems to attract the slightest amount :(

Anyone know of anything, or currently use any such device?

Cheers

Its going to be very hard to lower dust content, as it comes from literally anything.

Unless you have a device in your room that is constantly sweeping the room and sucking in a lot of air to suck up said dust particles in the air.

It will cover the first layer and then he will use some more teflon and so on...

Thats like spilling food over the floor, then sweeping it under the rug

If you going to do this, you may aswel get the polish and duster out.

I think the OP is more asking for advice on how to reduce dust in a room so you dont need polish, duster or Teflon.

get a big flat screen tv, they attract dust the best. place tv in next room.

hey presto, all dust attracted into next room.

repeat until dust is removed.

i was looking to getting a honeywell air purifier to remove dust and stuff - don't know how good they are but the filter is washable so there is no extra cost. anybody tried one?
