what is CABS?

My bosses company looks like it's going to go bust soon - the guy can't even pay me on time

and when he does it's 20 here, 10 there

CAB = Citizens Advice Bureau

I won't hold my breath for the final pay, but I do hope I get it.

I now have the task of trying to raise as much money as possible in the next week or so. Have advertised my laptop and bmx on Gumtree lol.

Get some proper advice from CAB but I'd advise finding out who the administrators are and contacting them with a claim so that if the firm has any assets that can be liquidised, you 'may' get something.

Sorry to hear about your job mate, especially that it had to happen the day before payday! Anyway I hope you manage to get your last month's wages from them and I'm sure you will! Hope you find a new job soon mate!

A company my mother worked for went bust years ago due to the manager swindling the profits. Half the employee's went quietly, the other half stole most of the equipment + materials, loaded it all into the 2 company lorries and disappeared

They never got the lorries back either.
