Doh, guess if you're looking at options just start applying for anything around there!

Least there are a fair few places to try in Brizzle ;)

Not in what i do unfortunately, looks like London area or heading to Europe at the moment :(

I have to deal with Cognizant on a daily basis for a few clients and the work they do for them is awful.

Yep, i've not heard the best about them. But as said by someone else, thats to be expected these day :(

Too bad.

There's work around for translators, depending of course on what exp one has and level of language (written). You would only translate to your native language and normally one would earn .03 pence per word or more depending on the type of text.

do you have any more info on this ?

I feel for those looking for web/GD work at the moment, it is one of the most competitive fields out there.

I worked at a design agency a few years ago (but more on the IT side of things) and noticed something about the recruitment process of the place that I didn't care for. There were a couple of occasions where a job opportunity popped up - 2 matching candidates apply for said job, 1 male 1 female. The job got offered to the female candidate. As I say, this happened on at least two occasions and struck me as odd. Whether it was just coincidence or there was some favoritism towards female designers from the admittedly slightly pervy boss, I'm not sure.

My wife is a graphic designer. While she in between jobs she has been sticking stuff up on Shutterstock.

It's not massive money but if you have a disk full of unused stuff it is one way to get some extra money for it.
