Ive got my GTX460 on 17th of October, Ive went through a number of RMA's and received my 3rd card (I know, sigh) on 3rd November. I can still get a refund from ocuk ?
Reason im asking is because Someone said after some period of time I should contact the manufacturer and not ocuk ?

3 cards, same type same spec same brand?

Is the card beign repaired, switched for a refurb or are you getting a brand new one each time?

You have been RMAing this thru OcUK and not direct to manufacturer haven't you?

Your warranty is for 1 year with OcUK. I'm surprised they gave you 3 cards already, their losing money and if they give you a refund it will just add the icing to the cake lol

Nevermind, poster above.

Also the first 2 cards were tested and the results were the cards were faulty, so it wasnt my problem.

Thanks for the replies :)

but the cards may have become faulty as a result of something untoward happening in your system. what psu do you have?

Why not get OcUK to get you a new card again, get them to test it before sending it to you? If it works for them, and then doesnt for you, you know its your system at fault. 3 faulty cards in a row? Humm....

They cannot test it. Ive asked.
Lets not expand this thread any further - Theres a separate one for the nature of my problem - Just wanted to know :)

You are right mate.
Like some others said, Im stuck unless I test the card at another rig - Which is this Sunday. I will then update the topic.

if this current gpu fails to report positive when placed in another system, might i advise thinking about RMA'ing mobo and psu. i know it'll be costly but something is seriously not right here.

if the current gpu does show up to also be faulty in your mates system do NOT attempt to stick his gpu or any other gpu into your system, tho i'm sure your wise enough to have realised this.

getting a refund and buying a different brand card might be the cure, but you could end up in the same boat with the next card if there is a duff pci-e slot or ropey psu or whatever going on.

fingers crossed for sunday tho. but if i had to hazard a guess then it'd be that this card is now also fubar.

keep us posted mate
