It's not newsworthy, it's clickworthy.
While I don't really approve of tabloid like trivialisation - or the American-style fake god -fearing family man nonsense - I agree with most of this.
Judging the character of the person in the most powerful position in the country is very much something in the public interest, and any voters who think that someone who has history of behaving like Johnson is suddenly going to change now he's PM is either extremely naive, or thinking like a tribal Trump voter.

I was responding to the poster who essentially was saying he "had good breeding." Which is an incredibly archaic and disproven idea.
Boris has ancestors from the middle east, half of Europe and was born in the USA so he is probably related to Bruce Springsteen too /Jk.
Whatever, he has obtained a position in life mainly through his efforts although he had an advantageous upbringing as well. He is an intelligent man.

Anyway, the story on the radio made me chuckle that normally you can't get married in a Catholic church if you've been divorced but Boris was able to because the two previous marriages were Anglican and so therefore didn't count....lolreligion.
