Relegation speculation

I'm hoping it is qpr, West Ham and Southampton.

I would have liked Southampton to stay up bit sacking the manager in this way is a disgrace. Their chairman needs some egg on his face (although the fans also get hurt which is bad).

It will never be West Ham whilst big Sam is there, he has turned them into a pretty solid unit.

I fancy Reading and QPR to go down but not sure about my 3rd club, probably Wigan but not beyond the realms of possibility for Villa to be involved if they persist with Lambert.

Newcastle will turn it around enough to survive methinks.

QPR, don't think they'll make it.
Southhampton, 50/50.
Reading, probably.
Villa, probably. (at this rate)
Wigan will do their usual end of season run and escape.

I thinking Reading are in trouble, I don't see them staying up. It's such a toss up tho. Hope Villa don't go down, Lambert is a talented manager.

Every fan has their nob heads, just you had a fair few who were more vocal and acted like they were winning the league and getting pretty entitled, not you. I see many of last years posters have disappeared though

Care to name any of the nob heads?

Are you basing your hate because of posters on here or just Newcastle fans in general? Because if the latter you are seriously misinformed/full of crap.

Stupid post, and typical rival fan drivel about Newcastle fans getting above their station...you are allowed to get excited when your team is playing well you know? I can't recall ANY such talk about title winning (or attempt of) either on here or any of the main NUFC sites I visit. It's a complete fallacy about NUFC fans being unrealistic, you know that right?? It's just tabloid gash used to stir up ill feeling.

The fact is Newcastle Utd do more for the pedigree of the league than any of the dross that is likely to replace us IF we were to go down. Stadium in the top 4 of the entire footballing leagues, fantastic city to visit once a season with excellent transport links, hotels, bars, restaurants.

I remember some fool posted he was glad to see the back of Newcastle the season we got the boot, going onto say that the likes of Burnley should be given a chance (like he was annoyed by the fact we had taken up a place in the PL for 16 years), as if by some strange logic the team they replace should be Newcastle

Needless to say I went on to say how much worse the league would be, stating the most obvious reasons including the above...I never got a response as I'm guessing he felt like a complete and utter moron.

Everyone else who has stated they HOPE Newcastle go down, can you state why?

The post was asking who you THINK would go down, based on form, results, likely hood of being unable to turn it around.

Genuine question, just want to see if it's just biased rival drivel or an actual proper reason...like have you personally been affected by Newcastle Utd or any of the other 2 teams you have mentioned?

Hope:-

Sunderland - It's Sunderland
Aston Villa - Purely because of the nob head bedsheet brigade the day we were relegated, didn't have any negative feeling towards Villa at all until that day. Enemy for life now...it was utterly bizarre.
QPR - For throwing money around like a top 4 club but only being able to house 18k fans. It's unbelievably irresponsible and completely against the FFP rules, I hope Fernandes gets stung.

Think:-

Villa
Reading
QPR

So 2 of my wish list.

Hope:

Reading
Wigan
Newcastle

Expect:

QPR
Villa
Reading

We are playing a bit better now and actually scoring goals but the predictability of conceding from a set-piece is almost a given. If we don't beat Newcastle we're as good as gone.

Fans in general is too much of a generalization, the ones I interacted with ****ed me off with their arrogance/entitlement, like I said I wanted you up, now after seeing it I wouldnt mind you down. (Also massive dislike of pardew)

Don't know why you're so offended really and I never mentioned anything about title chasing

I think the mags are taking the action they need to..probably getting some of their summer targets now..hand has been forced but at least they are doing something about it..just depends whether they work out or not

Villas defence will be their downfall..they are shot to bits confidence wise and the manager seems to have no idea how to turn it around. it doesnt matter how many goals benteke scores as they ship them far to readily at the back

Norwich will be looking over their shoulders as well as they are not on a good run
I personally think it will be QPR, reading and Villa

though this could be wigans year finally. They dont have that sort of player that can change a game like nzogbia did last season (though he has hardly showed a glimpse of that in a villa shirt)

I think Wigan's luck will run out and they will go down this season.

Aston Villa are just a total mess and will most likely go down as well.

Lastly, it'll be Reading or QPR, and I think QPR - with the right signings in the next week or so - can stay up, narrowly.

I'd like Newcastle to go down, just so we can get Cabaye off them. ;) :p
