Relocating to bedford

Nah that's Airkix which isn't as big as Bodyflight Bedford. They filmed some of Quantum of Solace there.

This is off-topic though as I have only been to Bedford for the tunnel so can't really comment on what it's like to live there!

Lots of love sucking?

Was'nt aware of another wind turbine like that in the UK only knew of the xscape, sort of makes the Airkix rather pointless considering how close they are!

Or isn't the wind tunnel in Xscape pointless because Airkix is better?

z0mg talk of where I live on a national/international forum is freaky.

Luton & Dunstable isnt as bad as people are making out.
Northampton is quite possibly the most boring place on earth.
Mk is alrite but again not overly exciting.
Bedford is ok but as said before i would look at villages outside of it.

I've visted friends in Bedford a few times. Though I think they do live in a few of the surrounding villages which seemed quite pleasant. Possibly 'Kenton' if that is one?

Bedford certainly is certainly above Luton and Dunstable, to say the place doesn't have character is a bit silly when you look at the river, buildings etc. It is a private school town so does have affluence, although I still stick to living in the surrounding villages.

Milton Keynes has some nice estates but is just soulless, Barton le Clay is full of chavs and not particularly amazing either. Luton you should just miss out altogether, yes Bushmead is the nicest part of Luton but it's best to just avoid the place as you would still have to shop there.

Think you mean Kempston, parts of it are nice like Box end but other parts are the pits.

Indeed, plus Box End should have a lot less traffic now with the new bypass opened around Bromham-kempstion and onto the M1 J13.

And Luton is as bad as people make out :p

So overall OP shouldn't be worried at all, and we could even have a mini OcUk meet :D:p

Nothing wrong with Milton Keynes for entertainment.... Some rather nice housing estates around MK as well. Has some nice lakes to walk around, Willan and Furzton are very nice in the summer time, they also hold a fair few events each year..... Just a bit soulless, as said and few too many roundabouts.. lol Has a lot of footpaths called ‘redways’ which makes for a nice walk, but I wouldn’t use them in the evening, at night as they aren’t all that well lighted in places….

Northampton isn't 'that' boring... Its ok, nothing special. Its quite close to MK, and houses in Northampton are quite cheap, well compared to MK in any case.

Dunstable downs is not too bad. Luton really is horrid, my gf is doing her uni degree there, and she hates the place as well....

I think its time he went exploring and had a look at these places for himself.. You can drive to and between all these places in a day, that are all pretty close to each other..

i live in one and work in the other...yeah they are :p

If you want an honest view from an estate agent thats lived in Bedford his whole life - Go north of the river.

Oakley,Pavenham,Harrold,Odell,Biddenham,Bromham,Turvey,Carlton,Felmersham,Sharnbrook etc....

If you must go south then certain parts of Elstow and Wilstead are nice.
